| SDD5 diesel locomotive is used for main line freight transportation on broad gauge railway. The locomotive consists of two identical cars A and B, which are in fixed multiple connection. The whole locomotive can be controlled uniformly in the cab of any one car. The locomotive is equipped with 16V240ZJD diesel engines, with service power of 3240kW and maximum running speed of 100km/h. The locomotive is equipped with microcomputer control system and running safety speed monitoring system. |
